I am just working my way around the CD and I think it is going to be quite useful, but immediately I find there are plants in my garden which are not listed.
With 15,500 plants in the RHS encyclopedia these days, I guess this is inevitable.
Is there a plant 'self add' feature available to deal with this, or do I have to hope it will be added with the top-up CD?

Dear Colin,
We have tried to cover the plant care of most garden plants, so although we don't have every clematis, rose or water lily for example we have tried to cover the plant care of the different types.
With this in mind we are now adding 500 plants every 4-6 months to 'Loyalty' Cd's for those who wish. We hope that 2,500 plants is ample for most people's needs but we will keep adding plants for others.
The cost of making the CD is high so we are dependant on sales to allow us to expand the collection. We hope to gradually widen the choice of plants plus make specialist CD's.
Un like the RHS Encyclopedia each plant on the CD has it's own photographs and plant care and pruning advice. We can add names of plants just to bump up the plant numbers but we don'yt think this has much use
Chris our computer genius is trying to work out a way for people to add photographs to the collection. It is easier said than done but I'm sure that we will find a solution
"Junior Member', I've been at it for more than 30 years.....gardening too!" I'm not sure what this means. It came with the discussion room program. No offence meant.
Best wishes
