why is my green pansy blue

does anyone know why my green pansy i grew from seed has blue on 2 of the petals also there is another flower on the same plant about to open that seems to be all blue..why is this..thanks

I think the reason why your green pansy might have come out blue instead of green is because I've noticed that a lot of suppliers don't really worry about supplying what people ask for. I've seen wrongly labeled plants in many many garden centres and even at a national collection, only to be told by the national collection boss that the plants come from abroad.
They rely on people not retuning the plants.

I could be wrong. Maybe the colouration difference could be something to do with the soil. I hope we find the answer.
