Hello everyone,
Can anyone help me identify this plant (see picture or attachment). When I bought it form a garden centre in the UK a few months ago it had lots of small flowers similar to daisies - but with yellow petals. The flowers have all gone now and its green stems are turning brown at the top. If someone can help me identify it then I can try and stop it from dying - as that what appears to be happening.

Cheers

It does look a bit ragged, Neil. Difficult to say what it is, but it could be a Marguerite. Is the pot outside?

A lot of annual and perennial plants are starting to die back at this time of year so all may not be lost. Don't overwater it and don't feed it, but let it die back and then cut the stems back.

Give it a few weeks and then check round the base of the plant - if it's a perennial there may be signs of new growth. You could also check the roots - if they're still fat and crisp then it isn't dead.

If it's a tender annual then it will die off anyway, whatever you do.
