I've bought a house with a 30 yard long laburnum walk which has been left unpruned for quite some years. It has therefore lost its tunnel shape.
Would anyone be able to advise me how hard and when I should prune it to reform the arch? Ideally I'd like to effectively pollard it, but don't know if this will be fatal!
