I bought this at the store and it had no tag on it. No one around here seems to be able to identify it. Can someone please help me?

Thanks for the response. That plant looks awfully close to what mine is, but I don't think that's quite it. The edges of my leaves aren't quite as rigid as the caster-oil plant.

It's a Fatsia japonica, Leigh Ann. They're fairly undemanding and grow well outside, as well as indoors, and are good for shady areas.

I was given a bit of one just over a year ago and it's doing really well in a shady spot where the large glossy leaves provide good colour. It's about to flower for the first time which I'm looking forward to seeing.

Thanks, Miranda! I think you're right. I have mine inside where it gets afternoon sun and it's doing beautifully. It seems very easy to keep. I can't wait until mine flowers!:)
