Could anyone please tell me the name of this plant?

It looks familiar but I have no idea what it is, which is extremely annoying.

Did you see it in the UK or elsewhere? It's curious, those straight stems and the very fern-like foliage are an odd combination.

Did you see any flowers on it?

FYI I found out the answer:

Cyathea dealbata - Silver Fern or Ponga in the native Maori (New Zealand)
