I have a couple of very strange plants that have sprouted up in my garden. The "heads" which are segmented, alomost like garlic bulbs, contain a brown stone that looks like a coffee bean. Also the plant has copious amounts of milky white sap.
Any id gratefully received!

It looks like the caper spurge, Euphorbia lathyris, which is a UK wild plant or escapee.
The sap is a give away as Euphorbias always have milky sap - it can be a skin irritant so take care when you handle it.
