Please help identify this flower

It came from a tree/shrub about 2.5m tall and from a garden in Sussex.

Please help me identify this, I have taken a cutting, please can you also tell me the best way to plant the cutting.

Hi,
This looks like an Hibiscus syricaus. I'm not sure of the variety though.
I've got a blue Hibiscus flowering now. They are beautiful flowering shrubs.
Maybe someone will know the variety and let you know which it is.

This is most likely Hibiscus syriacus 'Woodbridge'. Incidentally our Hibiscus really excelled themselves this year. Clearly the superb weather really suited them.
