Hi

I planted a Greengage tree about five years ago and last year I noticied one or two fruits. This year, it's full of blossom which has never happened before. Does this mean it might produce more fruit this year?

Dear Joy,
Having flowers means that there is a very good chance that you will get more fruit this year but you will need to keep pigeons away from the flowers and developing fruit as they'll eat the lot if they can.
Best wishes

Hi Neil

Thanks for your advice. I've noticied a few pigeons in the garden recently so I'll keep an eye on them as this is the first year that we've had flowers on the tree.

Joy :)
