Just in case anyone is unsure of how to get an email notification when someone replies to a thread they've posted or replied to, here is a guide on how to change your settings.
Once you're logged in, the quickest way is to click on 'Quick Links' at the top of the page.
Choose 'Edit Options' in the 'User Control Panel' section. This will take you to the page where you can change the options for the messages you receive.
In the second section on that page, called 'Messaging & Notification' you'll see an option called 'Default Thread Subscription Mode'.
In the menu, choose 'Instant email notification' and then save your changes at the bottom of the page.
You should now get emails telling you when someone has replied to a thread you've started or replied to.
