Hello to All,

Can anyone please advise or make ANY helpful suggestions as to what i can sell on a charity plant stall? The stall is to take place in late November so lots of stuff will be just a brown twig in a pot! Not very saleable!

I have some Buxus - the little dwarf sort.

Coleous - for colour.

Minature geraniums ( pelagoniums )

Rockery plants - various.

Dried Beech and flower arrangers items.

China pots and patio pots.

Any help will be most appreciated as it is for the NSPCC.

Thanks

Gabby

You could collect some seeds and pack them in your own little envelopes to sell and along with your pelargoniums you could strike cuttings of fuchsia, they will grow all winter if given the right conditions.

Winter pansies and Primulas are in flower at that time of year and very colourful.

Also around for that time of year are heathers, I've seen some of these recently in shops and garden centres that have been sprayed different colours and I think they look awful in them stupid colours.

Hi,

Many thanks for suggestions and I have downloaded some "How to grow trees " advice and printed this off and added some beech nuts. Also I have never taken cuttings of heather is it easy?

I have posted an enquiry on the ID plant bit of this website and would really like to find out the name of the succulent as it was a donation and its easier to sell things if I have the proper name.

Have also got some Bizzie Lizzies, Aubretia, Forget Me Nots.

Would like to try some shrubs which will hold over for next Spring if they dont sell as I will have to put outside for the winter.

Thanks again,

Gabby
