Does anybody know how to handle amaryllis?
I got a huge bulb last year,planted it in a pot around November and it had 2 stems with flowers.Never had any leaves but they appeared when the flowers had gone.Now the trouble starts as according to all the instructions I've received I should have given it a good feed(which I did),move it to the garden and let the leaves die naturally.This plant seemed to be happy in the pot so I left it in it but it doesn't want to die as the foliage is still there and I noticed new shoot coming up which looks exactly the same when I planted it the first time.Should I left it outside or bring it inside?The bulb is even bigger than when I got it but I've never had a flower bulb that was growing all year round.:confused:
