We have a serious aphid infestation in the greenhouse and I haven't been able to get rid of it. I've used soap spray, garlic spray and have washed them off the plants, but can't get rid of them.

Anyway, I remember my dad using a nicotine bomb in the greenhouse. You can't get those now, but if I bought a packet of cheap cigarettes and lit them all in a closed greenhouse, do you think it would be the same as one of the old nicotine bombs?

This sounds like it's going to be an interesting thread Miranda.

I don't know about lighting the ciggies and leaving them to burn but I would prefer to sit in there and smoke them myself, but don't think I could handle 20 one after the other. Perhaps we should all come and join you for a smoking party in your greenhouse:D

There's an idea :D You'd be welcome to, Sue, though the greenhouse is very small and it might get a bit cosy if there were more than three of us.
