This year has been the wettest for years.
Although the UK is suffering from floods the slugs seem to love this wet weather and some of the brown slugs in my allotment are massive.
I'm letting them munch my Romanesco leaves as they seem too tough to cook. Does anyone know if the leaves are like cabbage and used in cooking or is it just the cauliflower-like centres that are edible
